How long does it take to get the Lag Thram after we submit our application online la.

Dear Sir, If you have referred the guide on our portal, it has to go through number of officials starting at gewog/dzongkhag and in head quarter. It also depends on nature of transaction. Meaning, if the transaction involves sub-division, it will take longer time since survey has to be carried out and maps needs to be updated. If the transaction is solid plot transfer, then it takes shorter duration. Thank you.

Dear Sir, Until the land owner (seller) has new lagthram, the buyer cannot process land transaction. The owner might have excess land and didn't get lagthram. Please approach the Paro Land Sector on the same issue. Thank you.

1-What documents needed for the joint-ownership transaction?2- pros and cons of having joint-transaction in transaction procedure?

Dear Sir, the documents needed depends on your transaction type. There is no such transaction type as joint ownership transaction. If you are buying from other person and registering with others as joint ownership, transaction type will be Sale Purchase. All the documents needed (some optional depending on the ownership of thram, mortgage, etc.) will be listed according to the transaction type in the system once an applicant initiates transition. To know the pros and cons of having joint ownership please contact 339269 during office hours. Thank you.
